What this site collects.

The short version: a static workbook site with one email form. There is no account system, no advertising profile built from your behaviour, and no data sold to anyone, ever.

Who is responsible

This site and the workbook sold through it are operated by CB Speech Therapy, PLLC (“we”). For any question about this policy, or to ask what we hold about you, write to our support address.

What we collect

Your email address, only if you type it in

The launch-notification form on the home page collects one thing: the email address you enter. It is handled by Netlify Forms, our hosting provider’s built-in form service, and stored in our Netlify dashboard. We use it to send you a message when the workbook goes on sale, and we do not add it to any other list.

The form also carries a hidden anti-spam field. If a bot fills it in, the submission is discarded.

Standard server logs

Netlify, which hosts this site, records ordinary web-server information for every request: IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This happens for every website you visit and we cannot switch it off. Netlify acts as our processor and retains these logs on its own schedule.

Nothing from the workbook itself

The purchased workbook is a folder of files that runs entirely in your browser. Your answers to the drills, which chapters you open, and how you score on the listening quizzes never leave your device, because there is nowhere for them to go — the workbook has no server component and works with your network disconnected.

What we do not collect

Cookies and third parties

This site sets no cookies of its own. Three third parties can see a request from your browser:

Advertising measurement. If we run paid advertising, a Meta or Google Ads measurement tag may load in order to count how many people who clicked an ad went on to buy. Those tags are switched off in our configuration by default, and while they are off the site loads no advertising script at all. When one is enabled it sets its own cookies, governed by that provider’s policy.

How long we keep things

Launch-notification emails are deleted once the launch message has gone out, unless you have separately asked to hear about updates. Purchase records are kept as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes, which in most places means several years. Server logs are Netlify’s to retain.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the UK, the EU, or a US state with a comparable privacy law, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. We are not going to make you prove where you live before honouring a deletion request — just email us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

International transfer

Our hosting, form handling, and payment processing run on servers in the United States. If you are writing to us from elsewhere, your email address will be stored there.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
